We are currently hiring a full-time Account Manager in the Charlotte area. Account Managers are responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff. Will be required to build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees by developing and retaining staff, coordinating the needed support services and solving problems to effectively run the account. Will need to meet or exceed financial and operational goals, provide quality customer service and maintain weekly operating schedules including completion of payroll. This position will provide after hours emergency response as required. Previous supervisory experience is required. Applicants should have excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance. Standard schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm however this role requires flexibility to work different hours as needed. This is a salaried position with benefits and paid time off.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the day to day security operations of an assigned client site. Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support of staff. Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met. Assure regular comminication of issues or program with client. Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situaitions appropriately. Maintain reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
Previous contract security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience required. At least 2 years of business management/operations/supervisory experience (depending on the size/scope of client.) Must have the ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
Outstanding interpersonal communications skills are required. Must have the ability to work in team-oriented environment with the ability to work independently. Candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, complex situaitons, and a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis. Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent
