APG Security is looking to hire Hospital Security Officers in the New Brunswick, NJ area with a $200 retaining bonus. Applicant must stay at least 90 days to receive the retaining bonus. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Access control & checking visitor identification, maintaining log books, reporting incidents to management in a timely fashion, valet duties, monitoring security cameras, walking tours of facilities, and mobile patrols. All Officers must maintain polite, professional interactions with all employees and guests of the healthcare facilities. Applicants must have the following to be considered for the position(s): A valid State Driver License with a clean driving record (Having a Commercial Driver's Licenses is a PLUS), a current NJ SORA License (or the ability to obtain one), and the ability to pass a physical and a drug screen. Additional sought after skills and qualifications include: Having effective organizational skills & be detail oriented; Polite and professional demeanor with people of all backgrounds; Good computer skills; Strong time management experience required with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; and Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills. Pay rate is $13.00/hour with promotion potential up to $18/hour for supervisory positions. Please make sure to list availability on your application.
