APG Security is looking to hire Hospital Security Officers in the Rockledge, FL area. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Access control & checking visitor identification, maintaining log books, reporting incidents to management in a timely fashion, valet duties, monitoring security cameras, walking tours of facilities, patient watch and mobile patrols. All Officers must maintain polite, professional interactions with all employees and guests of the healthcare facilities. Applicants must have the following to be considered for the position(s): A valid State Driver License with a clean driving record (Having a Commercial Driver's Licenses is a PLUS), Valid Class D Security Officer License and the ability to pass a physical and a drug screen. Additional sought after skills and qualifications include: Having effective organizational skills & be detail oriented; Polite and professional demeanor with people of all backgrounds; Good computer skills; Strong time management experience required with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; and Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills. Starting pay rate $11.25 per hour. Overtime available. APG Security offers a $100.00 retention bonus after completing 6 months of employment with the company. APG offers a $50.00 referral bonus for employee referrals that stay with the company for 6 months.
